Where these get eaten
Multi-day walks
Dinner at the hut or the tent, eaten from the pouch, which zips shut again for the walk out.
At anchor and on watch
A hot meal from the kettle and the water in the tank, with one hand free for the boat.
Power cuts
Three days of meals that need bottled water and nothing from the socket. A camping stove makes them hot.

Questions
How much water do I need?
330 ml per main and 250 ml for the porridge, hot (80–100 °C) or cold. Hot water takes eight minutes, five for the porridge; cold water takes about 20, and the time varies. The pouch is the bowl, so there's no pan to wash.
How long does it keep?
36 months sealed, kept cool and dry. For an emergency box, check the dates once a year, eat the oldest pouches on an ordinary day and replace them.
What about allergens?
Every product page lists the ingredients with allergens in bold, above the buy button. The porridge contains oats (gluten) and milk; the bolognese contains wheat and celery.
How many pouches a day?
The 72 h Pack plans each day with 1 breakfast, 2 mains and 1 bag of sweets: 1,493 kcal and 910 ml of water, hot or cold, a day on average.
