Three steps, hot or cold water
How to prepare a pouch
Meals and Rations take the same three steps, with hot water from a kettle or cold water from a bottle. The amount is the same.
- OpenTear at the notch, unzip, and lift out the oxygen absorber.
- Pour300 ml, hot or cold, then stir into the corners.
- WaitZip it shut and wait eight minutes with hot water, or about 20 with cold. Eat from the pouch.

How it's made
One release rule for every batch
Every recipe is cooked first, then freeze-dried whole. A batch is packed only when its water activity reads 0.60 or lower. Its lot number and best-before date go on every pouch.
