The first cold week of November
About this pouch
The first cold week of November is lentil weather, even on the coast. Meal No. 04 is lentils with chorizo, potato, carrot, onion, green pepper, olive oil and a bay leaf. It's cooked first, then freeze-dried whole, so the lentils and the potato keep their shape. The 110 g pouch holds 30 g of protein, and both figures are printed on the front. Each batch is written up with its cooking date and its water-activity reading, and the lot number on the base points to that record.
