Meal No. 08 Chicken Tinga Bowl, green 110 g Stock Up pouch, front

Friday at the desk

About this pouch

Chicken thigh shredded into a sauce of tomato, onion and smoky chipotle chilli, with black beans, sweetcorn, rice and a squeeze of lime, seasoned with oregano and cumin. It's tinga, the Mexican way with chicken, and shredding rather than cubing means every strand soaks up the sauce. Friday at the desk is when you'd normally order a burrito bowl; this one is already in the drawer. It's cooked first, then freeze-dried whole, chipotle sauce included. Stir once to bring the beans through, wait 8 minutes and eat it from the pouch with the afternoon still ahead of you.
